    Civilization Statistics

As a cavalry civilization, Wei reward players who lean into the strengths that define the archetype. Their civilization bonuses shape how games with them tend to unfold: Receive one free Villager for each economic upgrade researched, Hei Guang Cavalry and Xianbei Raider +20/30% HP in Castle/Imperial Age and Traction Trebuchets and Lou Chuans cost -25%. They are also a welcome addition to any team, thanks to the team bonus Cavalry +2 attack vs. Siege Weapons that extends to their allies.

They can also research unique technologies that no rival has access to: Ming Guang Armor (Mounted Units +4 melee armor) and Tuntian (Soldiers passively produce food). Their games tend to follow a familiar rhythm, reaching the Feudal Age around 9:52 and the Castle Age near 20:54 on average. The matchup chart tells a clear story: Wei feast on Muisca, winning around 56.4% of that pairing, but stumble against Goths, where their win rate slips to roughly 43.3%.

Statistically, Wei hold a 49.5% win rate in RM 1v1 (from 57054 games) for a tier-list spot of #31 of 54, all while being picked in about 0.9% of matches. Built around the unique Tiger Cavalry, Wei armies lean heavily on cavalry (~45% of everything produced), and the Hei Guang Cavalry is the unit players pump out most, at roughly 20%.
